Iran Army Chief Warns Trump and Netanyahu: ‘We Won’t Tolerate Threats’

Iran’s military commander General Amir Hatami issues stern warning to US and Israel over protest support. Tensions escalate as Trump threatens intervention.
You could cut the tension in the Middle East with a rusty knife right now. Seriously. It’s that bad.
We’ve got Donald Trump shooting his mouth off from Mar-a-Lago. We’ve got Benjamin Netanyahu cheering on the streets of Tehran. And now? Iran’s military is finally snapping back.
On Wednesday, General Amir Hatami—he’s the army chief, not the top guy but close enough—issued a warning that should make the hair on your neck stand up. He said Iran is done playing nice. They won’t just stand there while the US and Israel throw stones.
“The Islamic Republic of Iran considers the escalation of hostile rhetoric… a threat,” Hatami said, speaking to Fars news agency. His voice was low. Dangerous. “And will not tolerate its continuation without responding.”
Translation? Keep talking, and we start shooting.
Here’s the context, cause it’s getting messy. A few days ago, merchants in Tehran shut their shops. Prices are crazy. The rial is worthless. People are hungry. It’s not the massive 2009 uprising. Not yet. But it’s enough to get the vultures circling.
And who are the vultures? Trump and Bibi.
Trump told reporters on Sunday, “We’re watching it very closely.” Then the threat: “If they start killing people… I think they’re going to get hit very hard by the United States.”
Netanyahu was even bolder. He told his cabinet, “We stand in solidarity with the struggle of the Iranian people.” Solidarity? Please. They just want chaos. They want the regime gone.
Iran’s foreign ministry called it incitement on Monday. And now, the army is backing it up with guns.
Hatami dropped the big one. He said, “If the enemy makes a mistake, Iran’s response would be more robust than during last June’s 12-day war.”
Let that sink in.
Remember June? That was a nightmare. Israel hit military sites. Nuclear facilities. The US even jumped in, hitting three nuclear sites. It was 12 days of hell. And Hatami is saying the next one will be worse? Much worse.
He’s basically telling Trump: “Don’t test us.”
But will they listen? That’s the problem. Trump loves a fight. He sees weakness in Tehran and he wants to punch it. Netanyahu sees an existential threat and wants to crush it. They don’t care about “robust responses.” They think they’re untouchable.
The Iranian regime is cornered. They know it. They see the US and Israel coordinating. It’s not a coincidence that both spoke up at the same time. It’s a strategy.
“The objective is clear,” the Iranian analysis goes. “A creeping, de facto one-party state in the region.” Meaning, them.
But Iran has a long memory. They survived the 80s war. They survived sanctions. They survived the 2022 protests. They think they can survive Trump.
Hatami’s warning is a red line drawn in blood. But in politics, red lines are usually just suggestions.
The bazaars in Tehran are quiet today. But the war rooms? They’re screaming. We are so close to something breaking. And when it does? It won’t be a protest. It’ll be a firestorm.
Trump wants to hit them “very hard.” Iran says bring it on.
God help us all if someone blinks first. Because right now, nobody is blinking.
