Right when clocks ticked past midnight, close to one in the morning their time. A sharp explosion tore into the front of the American consulate office in Oslo. Officers arrived fast after a report came through, spotting black burns sprayed across the entry. Damage not bad, one cop mentioned, though nothing else came out – too soon to tell much.
Folks nearby insist a loud blast split the air, right before streaks of light cut through the night sky. Police vehicles flooded the streets soon after, accompanied by barking dogs, buzzing drones, plus a chopper spinning above. Inside his house, sixteen-year-old Edvard sat glued to the television when windows shook from the impact. “Our initial guess? Trouble inside,” he said to TV2, though officers in full kit arrived within minutes
