From his cell in Sokoto, Nnamdi Kanu has cut ties. Completely.

The IPOB leader has sacked his longtime lawyer, Ifeanyi Ejiofor, accusing him of still speaking and acting in his name… without permission. He says it had already been said before, verbally. Now it’s official.

Kanu didn’t mince words. Every authority given to Ejiofor—gone. No more representing him, his family, or IPOB. Not in court. Not in the media. Nowhere.

He also warned him. Stop the interviews. Stop the statements. Stop the posts. And step away from any ongoing cases tied to him. Immediately.

According to Kanu, only he decides who speaks or acts for IPOB. No exceptions, unless he says so.

There was another warning too. A serious one. He told Ejiofor not to reveal anything from their past dealings—any confidential detail at all. That, he said, could land him before the disciplinary committee… or worse.

And one more thing. All files. Every document. They must be kept intact.

Because if this line is crossed again, Kanu says legal action will follow. No hesitation.
