PDP Implodes. APC Fires Back: This is the Consequence of Your Years of Deceit. Learn to Walk Alone.

The Lagos chapter of the All Progressives Congress (APC) just went scorched earth on the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) this weekend. They said the current wave of defections? Not random. This exodus is the bitter, unavoidable result of deep internal rot. Years of deceit. Lack of core ideology. Serial betrayal among their leaders. It is simply karma.
Seye Oladejo, the state spokesman for the APC, signed off on a brutal statement. He found PDP’s attempt to downplay the crisis “pitiable.” The claim that these defections “cannot break” the party? Laughable, frankly. Oladejo called it chronic denial. A delusion. What is happening now is not just people moving house. This is political karma. When a structure is built on quicksand, it fails. Everyone knows that.
The APC isn’t surprised, they insist. For years, PDP survived solely on empty rhetoric. Blackmail. Pure propaganda. That’s it. But Nigerians are much wiser now, they claim. How can a party that famously mismanaged this whole nation for sixteen wasteful years suddenly pretend to be a credible opposition? Impossible. It remains a cesspool of chaos, honestly. The few guys left in PDP? They are nothing but the undertakers. Just there to conduct the final rites.
They are claiming these major defections actually show people have confidence in President Bola Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda. The opposition members, they seeing measurable progress. The PDP’s fake unity? Just a fragile alliance of opportunists, desperate for any power.
Our advice to the PDP? Start learning to walk alone right now. The road to 2027 is dark and bumpy. The party is over for that “largest party in Africa.” Oladejo challenged them to conduct an honest self-check. The opposition cannot be unshaken when people flee in droves to the APC—a party that represents stability. The Nigerian people speak loud. The era of deceitful opposition politics is over now.
