Trump Set to Topple Some African Leaders, Won’t Help Tinubu – Primate Ayodele

The leader of INRI Evangelical Spiritual Church, Primate Elijah Ayodele, has issued a stark warning that US President Donald Trump will move to remove some African presidents from power.

Primate Ayodele, in a statement signed by his media aide Osho Oluwatosin, made it clear that “Trump isn’t working in favour of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, regardless of what he is doing.”

The cleric explained Trump’s decision to engage with Nigeria isn’t about helping the country. It’s about making things worse, actually.

“Donald Trump will ensure he removes some African presidents. America isn’t working in favour of Tinubu. No matter what Tinubu is doing now, Trump will come around against him. America isn’t coming to help you but to remove you.”

Pretty blunt stuff.

The cleric warned Nigeria to watch its academic and security facilities closely against potential attacks. He also mentioned specific states that need urgent attention.

“Nigeria must watch on academic facilities and security institutions. Let’s watch Abuja, Lokoja, Benue, Kogi, Edo, Ogun, Katsina, Adamawa, Kano, Sokoto; they should be monitored because I see attacks.”

Primate Ayodele didn’t stop there. He asked the Nigerian government to stay alert on security matters, noting the nation needs a proactive Chief of Army Staff (COAS). He warned of political assassinations and attacks coming.

“Nigerian government must not sleep on this security matter, this will still affect the killing of top security leaders and the ambushing of military armouries. I have warned the military several times that we need a proactive Chief of Army Staff.

“There will still be political assassinations and attacks. People who are on the ground, who are to serve as intelligence to the security operatives, are afraid; no one is ready to do anything.”

That last part hits different. Intelligence operatives too scared to act? That’s a security nightmare waiting to happen.

The prophecy comes at a time when US-Africa relations are being reshaped under Trump’s administration, with several African leaders watching nervously to see how American foreign policy will shift.

Whether Primate Ayodele’s warnings will materialize remains to be seen, but one thing’s certain—he’s not mincing words about what he believes is coming for Nigeria and the continent at large.
