West Ham pull back on Onyedika. Mukau climbs to the top.

For a while Onyedika was the talk of the transfer window. The 24‑year‑old Super Eagles midfielder — moved from Midtjylland to Club Brugge three years ago — and he’s become a regular there. Milan even sniffed around last year until they signed Youssouf Fofana. Now Graham Potter wants a tough, defensive presence and, according to Sacha Tavolieri, West Ham are seriously eyeing 20‑year‑old Ngal’ayel Mukau of Lille instead. He’s tight on the ball, high‑energy and strong — valued at about €20m, a fee within reach. Onyedika isn’t completely off the radar, just not the priority right now. If Mukau proves tricky, the Hammers could come back. Meanwhile Onyedika will look to help Club Brugge push for the Jupiler Pro League.
