Pastor Jimmy Odukoya introduced Mo Jasmine Odukoya as his wife during a Sunday service at The Fountain of Life Church, drawing an emotional response from the congregation.
“Some of you saw the post, some people said is it artwork? No, it’s my wife!” he said, presenting her to the church as “Pastor Mrs Mo Jasmine Odukoya.”
His announcement came a day after he shared a photograph of two hands wearing wedding rings, prompting speculation online about a new chapter in his life.
Speaking to the congregation, Odukoya reflected on the biblical account of Adam finding a suitable partner. He said he had spent time “looking and searching” before finding the person he described as his wife.
Odukoya, the son of late pastor Taiwo Odukoya, was previously married to Oluwakemi Sade Banjoko. They have two children, and their marriage ended in 2013.
The announcement marks a personal milestone for the pastor, who is also known for his acting career before entering full-time ministry. Members of the congregation celebrated the news and congratulated the couple.
