Washington means business. The Department of Homeland Security came out swinging Wednesday with a fresh list of deportation targets. 124 Nigerians. All of them labeled the “worst of the worst” criminal aliens still lurking in the country.

That’s the full roster.

Here’s the kicker though. Nobody knows when these folks are actually getting on the plane. DHS stayed tight-lipped about the timeline. They also won’t say exactly what each person did. Just called it “serious crimes.”

Could be fraud. Could be drugs. Could be assault. They’re keeping that part close to the vest.

“The hardworking men and women of DHS and ICE are fulfilling President Trump’s promise,” the statement read. “Carrying out mass deportations — starting with the worst of the worst.”

Sound like déjà vu? That’s because we been down this road before.

February 2026. DHS announced 79 other Nigerians for the same treatment. Back then they actually said what these guys did. Fraud, drug trafficking, assault, manslaughter, robbery. The whole gamut.

This latest drop comes hot on the heels of June’s visa restrictions. Washington slapped partial bans on Nigerian citizens, saying they were worried about identity management and people overstaying. Plus security screening headaches.

Since Trump walked back into the White House January 20, 2025, this has been the playbook. Find them, name them, ship them home.

The message is pretty clear. If you’re Nigerian and you got dirt on your record in the US, they’re coming for you.

We reached out to DHS asking when exactly these deportations kick off. They didn’t get back to us.
